چکیده
Introduction: Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) derived biventricular global function index (BVGFI) is a new CMR parameter that integrates volumes, mass, and using clinically available parameters. The associations of BVGFI with clinical outcomes in repaired tetralogy Fallot are unknown. Methods: Patients who had before the occurrence composite outcome death, resuscitated sudden or sustained ventricular tachycardia were studied. was calculated as average right left GFI. GFI defined (ventricular stroke volume×100)/(ventricular mean cavity volume + total myocardial volume). Ventricular ([end-diastolic end-systolic volume]/2). Cox multivariable regression analysis classification tree methodology used. Results: Of 736 eligible subjects (mean age at 25.4±14.5 years), median follow-up 28 months, 55 (7.4%) reached (46 deaths 9 tachycardia). Independent follows: <37 (hazard ratio, 2.52; P =0.004), >85 mL/m 2 3.25; <0.001), atrial 2.03; =0.021), repair >2.5 years 3.37; <0.001). Classification identified most discriminatory associated high risk for adverse outcomes. Conclusions: BVGFI, novel CMR-derived imaging biomarker combining function, may improve stratification patients Fallot.

Vascular function in children with repaired tetralogy of Fallot.
We compared the endothelial function and vascular wall characteristics of 11 children with tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) (age 13 +/- 3 years) with the characteristics of 17 age-matched peers (12 +/- 2 years). Echocardiographic Doppler measurements were performed under standardized conditions to assess (1) the carotid and femoral artery diameter and intima-media thickness, (2) brachial artery endoth...

Operable Problems Pulmonary regurgitation and RVOT stenosis are anatomical complications that can be relieved only by anatomical repair including surgery and percutaneous catheter treatment.4,5 Therefore, appropriate timing of such intervention is important. However, definite criteria for reoperation are not yet determined. There were several advocated criteria for re-intervention using magneti...

PURPOSE Tetralogy of Fallot is a congenital heart disease characterized by underdevelopment of the right ventricular infundibulum. Present study aimed to explore the clinic value of Tei index in assessing right ventricular function of pediatric patients with repaired Tetralogy of Fallot. METHODS A total of 45 pediatric patients with repaired Tetralogy of Fallot were recruited and classified i...
متن کاملOutcome of adults with repaired tetralogy of Fallot.
Outcome of adult patients with repaired tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) was studied with emphasis on postrepair problems. A retrospective review of clinical, echocardiographic, catheterization, and surgical data was performed for 48 patients who underwent corrective repair of TOF after 15 years of age. All patients survived total repair and have been followed up from 3 months to 11 years (median 4.6 ...
متن کاملAssociation of ventricular dyssynchrony and strain with cardiac function in patients with repaired tetralogy of Fallot
Background Patients with repaired tetralogy of Fallot (rTOF) have impairments in cardiac mechanics (strain and dyssynchrony). However, the relationship between cardiac strain, dyssynchrony, and cardiac function (measured by ejection fraction) in patients with rTOF has not been explored comprehensively in a large population. We hypothesized that measures of cardiac mechanics are associated with ...
